I have E3 plugs and have no problem at all, I am surprised that only one or two people recommended changing o2 sensors, its the biggest contributor to poor gas mileage (usually) and once you change it and reset your computer you have better gas mileage pretty much instantly. If your o2 sensor is old and hasn't been changed in a long time you'll notice a huge difference. It's always a good idea to change plugs and wires and cap and rotor and all that stuff as well though. o2 sensors can be more expensive to change but usually have the most influence on gas mileage.

o2 sensors are my next task. So far I think I got a little better mileage, but I've only gone through a quarter tank. I still have a few miles to go till I can do the math.

Dont wait. Change the sensor. Its a cheap fix to your problem and its easy to replace.

How do I get to the o2 sensor? I know its about $50 though. I heard it was easy but i haven't had time to fix it yet.

It is located in a bung in your downpipe (the part of the exhaust pipe located directly after your exhaust manifold). All it takes is unplugging it and then using a socket to get it out of the downpipe. Should be straight forward when you see it
