Sounds like a gimmick to me. Stick with $2 Champions and change them every 30,000 miles.

I couple of friends have tried them even though I suggested that they stick with Champions. Lets just say that after about 3 days they went and got some Champions...

yeah i was gonna get some but if you think about it, spark goes the easiest way traveled. so it is just gonna go to the same prong everytime. the other two prongs get dirty cause the ignition isnt cleaning them every time it sparks. so you basically have the same thing as a normal spark plug (with 2 extra dirty prongs)

Wrong.
They use whatever is least expensive.
If you build a million cars and you get a part that does the job for $1.00 less than another part that works basically the same, which one do you think they are gonna use.
If you buy a Lambo or a Mercedes Amg or even some of the hi-po BMWs do you think you'll find a champion in there?

Jeeps: High volume low profit margin Cheap plugs
BMW etc: low volume High profit margin expensive plugs
Why? Because they work better and last longer which equals to greater customer satisfaction which keeps them coming back.

We really should get over ourselves here.
Yes our heeps are the best ride in the world. It was a fluke.
I'm sure we even surprised the bean counters at AMC/Chyrsler but if they were really so good they'd still be making them.

Newer car claim to have 100K between tunes not because plugs are better oem's decided that was good number because all consumer reporting groups were complaining about the maintenance requirements

Do not buy these. I had them in my XJ and my suburban and they were horrible. They worked for about 2 or 3 months and then went to ****.

Well said, and more than likely true.

I have champion truck plugs and they work fine. I don't see a need for better, more expensive spark plugs don't necessarily mean better performance.

im not a fan of champion plugs at all, neither do i like these ridiculus high tech plugs, autolite platinums, bosch platinums, NGKs, Denso plugs are usually my favs, my jeep has Autolite Platinums i just put in.
