Default Which is easier? An engine swap or a drivetrain swap?

So I bought a 4wd 1999 Cherokee with a bad head gasket. I already got a good 1999 2wd Cherokee, and I need a good engine & a 4wd drivetrain. I’m working with basic tools, and all i have are some jack stands. Should I swap my good 2wd engine? Or should I swap the good 4wd drivetrain? (Including Transmission, Transfer Case, Driveshafts, Front Axle, etc). I will add the 4wd Jeep have a nicer lift, but that’s easy to swap out if I’m already changing out the front axle, right

? Thanks for reading, any advice is helpful.

If you are set up for it, the drive train swap is easier and less time consuming

Default Head gasket

Why not just fix the head and head gasket?

If rust isnt an issue, just fix the head gasket.
