I appreciate the tips, but I am totally shocked by them.
Literally, both times I have disconnected the battery to work on the Jeep, and then reconnected everything the car ran awful. Super rough idle, misfires, loss of power etc. However, after 24 hours or so, Molly begins to run normally without any issues. Full power, no misfires, good idle etc.
Keep in mind, I am not storing the Jeep during these sessions. They tend to be about 2 to 5 hour ordeals, and not multiple day events.
Confused. The jeep is still fun though.

Absolutely positively...... 97.8% a thing that would cause this is a shaky connection somewhere. I bet you have a loose connection or just a bad connection that is being moved a little when you disconnect and reconnect. After years of wear and heat wires sorta harden in shape. This could cause a bad connection to settle back in after some vibration ie running and driving...

I've been working and stuff.... Just haven't done much to the jeep or had much motivation all winter. I'm getting back into it though. Don is so shocked to see me he doesn't even.know what to say hahaha. Should say renix moderator instead of regional moderator btw. You should change that.

What was that? High.... Oh stock.... Now why would you do that!.... That just proves that you are a man who truly understands the workings of an engine. If you post a build thread you will probably get 50 people telling you you should have used a high volume pump..... People who just don't understand how engine oiling systems work. I am so happy you posted the correct answer. I knew you would.
