Did that plug have 4 wires? (green, black, green w/ black, orange w/black)

 

fan has two should be around where rad cap would be if you had one

i think someone tried to put an HO motor in, but didnt finish. pics of the rest of the motor?

 

may of been 4cyl? what gears you got and is there three or four bolts on your throttle body where it mounts to manifold?

 

There are 3 bolts attaching the throttle body to the intake manifold. Also when I got the truck it had a 4cyl sending unit and fuel pump in it. I ran the VIN # and it says it came with the straight 6, so maybe they replaced the sending unit with a 4cyl one not knowing it wouldn't supply enough fuel to the engine. I tell you, the hardest part of this truck is figuring out what the last few owners have done. As for the fan relay, I am missing it. It's also missing a relay on the other side near the battery. I believe it was for the AC. Whoever had this truck before me wired in 2 relays under the dash to make the blower motor work. I guess I'm at a loss of what to do about the fan... Anyone know of a good write up on wiring in a switch to the fan? I'd rather not, but I'm losing hope for a fully stock Comanche... I appreciate all your help guys, keep it coming!

 

This pic is from the rear of the engine, drivers side. I found 2 wires cut off. One is red with a white stipe and the other is white with a black stripe

Yes it's Renix. I found the fan relay and connector along with the temp sensor that is supposed to be in my radiator to turn it on and off. Now i just gotta connect all the dots. I don't care about the AC, but I would like the fan to turn on and off on its own when it needs to (no manual switch).

you might be able to use the sensor on the thermostat housing instead off the rad one easier to get at

 

It's was 5 months ago but I do believe so, Cuzz we where hoping it had something todo with my headlights and when we jumped the wires my fan turned on..
