i know you mentioned it works when you unplugged the CTS.. when you replaced the CTS and plugged it back in does it all work or no?

I had same issues i replaced headgasket through whole cooling system and a year later my fan is dead having issues. Wondering if it is truly the CTS or something else; I am headed to the store in a bit to try one out.

When I unplugged my CTS the elec fan turned on but than i drove and my thermostat guage did not operate normally...was it the same for you as well?
