Default Electricals? (Misposted on wrong forum site firstime around)

(Sorry, I misposted this on the wrong forum site yesterday.)
So I hadn't adjusted the mirrors from the inside switch for maybe a year. I hadn't had occasion to use the rear wiper for six or seven months. Now they don't work. Fuses are okay. No burn smell either. Before I take a hammer to them to try to get their attention and unfreeze, I thought I'd ask the forum for any suggestions. What do you think?
(Main components run beautifully on my 185,000 mi year 2000 Cherokee Sport. But airco unit failed late summer, and I put in a bypass for $90. Will do a correct fix someday. New tires are Cooper ATV 235 75 15.)

Sounds like my problem. Once I sit around without moving for awhile I get stoved up and it takes a helping hand to get me freed up and loose again.

The usual culprit is the wires where they go from the body to the hatch. They break from bending too much. Other things will go also in tinme

Just like the rear hatch wire the door wires wear as well....Mine freaks out the door lock motors from time to time when the passenger front door is closed. The wires will short to volatage and run for pretty much ever till the door is opened again or I hit the right bump in the road.
