OK i dont know much about a inline 6. So i need some advice. I went to get my tailpipe rapped for emissions. They didnt pass me they said it had no power in 3 rd gear and was doing 40mph. I know 3rd is a pulling gear. I noticed when i bought it Saturday and drove it home it was lacking power climbing a hill while pulling a empty 4x8 trailer. They guy i got it from said it has a rebuilt motor and was bored out .30. It is also takes a little bit to get it started. So Im going to pull the plugs and start there and check some of the basics.

You haven't given us much to go on. How about the year of the Jeep. Does it have an ODB II connection and what are the error codes?

Pull down the front of the catalytic converter and see if the honeycomb is intact. It could be plugged and causing you to loose power.

Ok today i put in a 16oz can of seafoam in the gas tank replaced the o2 and the ccs sensors. Found a wire that was broke on the fire wall. It was going to another valve just about the intake and had the vaccum line to the intake. Thinking tomorrow im going to cut the exhaust pipe and replace the cat and muffler with new. Even though the cat was just replaced. I also found that the exhaust manifold is cracked i dont think that would cause my huge power loss.

You could, and should have your codes read. I hear allot of places so it free. Be sure to accurately write down what they say. (the actual codes)

You could give this a shot. (the codes are in "info threads)
The "Key Tricks"
Older (OBDI) models - Start with the ignition off. Within five seconds, switch the key on, off, on, off, on. ("On" is NOT "Start" and "Off" is NOT "Lock"). The "check engine" light will flash. Count the flashes. Each code is a two digit code, so a (for example) 23 would be FLASH FLASH (pause) FLASH FLASH FLASH (long pause). It will never flash more than 9 times, so watch for those pauses!

I can't say from experience, but I hear a crack/leak in the exhaust manifold will let air in, (it "puffs, in") and mess up your 02 sensor reading. That's a very important reading and has a big effect on how much fuel your PCM will tell the injectors to provide. Probably not a bad place to start.

Thanks for that trick i didnt know.

OK here what i found
13 map sensor < going to replace
17 running cool < going to replace the temp sensor
27 fault in injector driver interface circuit < confused about that one
35 fault in fan relay circut < i noticed that the electric fan does not come on so going to check relay and fuse.
