got rid of my cherry 90 2wd, can anyone guess what I traded her for? Going to miss my xj, and I want to say to all the Renix haters, RENIX is awesome!!!! Not any problems reliable as the sun rising and decent on gas. 5 star vehicle no doubt.

Another XJ?

Hey, we can't be expected to guess without any info - unless it's a newer or simply 4wd XJ of course.

I haven't been a member all that long, but I haven't seen any hating on Renix Jeeps. The only difference I've seen is that there are expert tips for getting the most out of the Renix and not so much for the newer ones. Personally I like the 94-96 XJ's, but that's only because you don't see many Renix Era XJ's around here due to the salty winter roads.

Yea the Renix 4.0 made me a believer in that straight 6, one of the best motors ive owned, strong and fast. Guess I do need to give a hint to my current vehicle

The 4.0 pulled HARD, the porsche didn't pull nearly as hard off the line, Jeep definitely could have taken the porsche off the line no doubt, but the reason i wanted this is for its superb handling, got a little tired of jeeps sloppy handling, I wanted to take a turn at more than 20 without feeling like I'm gonna tip over LMAO. But jeep xj is definitely LEGENDARY.

My Dad would take corners quite a bit faster than 20 in his old 94... but it was a legendary vehicle - 400k orig miles when he retired it with the engine still running perfectly.

That is a sweet looking porsche - enjoy it bro!

Nice classy Porsche! I wouldn't of guessed you got a classic 944! Them seats are similar to my buddy's 71' Road Runner, which is why I guessed chrysler lol.
I only feel bad about the price of the parts and the complexity of that thing lol. Enjoy your new love, and be safe with her!

actually the porsche injection system is similar to the Renix in my jeep, basically the same sensors, no check engine light so if anything fails it's like renix as you check the sensors individually with multimeter , so same troubleshooting process as renix lol, and between rock auto ,eBay and Craigslist I can get parts for reasonable prices nothing outrageous... Yet lol
