not sure if the TPS will have a positive effect on ur coolant temp. That will have to be addressed next.

I just had my upper screw snap. "I feel your pain!"A mixed blessing it's soft metal...Man the lower has to suck.

OOps! I deleted a backwards Idea..

I pulled the throttle body off and did it that way.

well a new properly adjusted tps solved the idle creeping up problem but my random stalling problem is back. I find it annoying but it is really challenging my daughter who has her learner's permit (I bought this for her to drive). I really need to get this taken care of, any ideas?? Thanks!!

Random stalling when? At a stop? Driving down the road?

Ever test the CPS output?

it stalls at idle, just when you give it a little throttle it'll die, if you give it a lot of throttle no problem. Doesn't always do it just sometimes more often with the very new and inexperienced driver who is afraid to push on the pedal.

The CPS sends a signal all the time, not just cranking. Random dieing is one of it's many tricks!

Is the cps a hall effect pickup?
