Engine noise &loud clinking noise
Hey eveyone, I own a 98 cherokee 4.0L. With the majoity of engines, when you drive off a car that has not been warmed up, the engine makes a distinct sound when compared to a fully warmed engine. My cherokee continues to make this "sound" even when fully warned. With this sound, I felt a reduction in engine power.
Also, my cherokee has a skyjacker6" lift with 1" spacers. I switched out the driveshaft and added a SYE. When going over a speed bump at 50 MPH or just blasting through the dunes, I hear a LOUD "Clink" noise. Its from the rear end. I checked out my differential and theres no oil leaks. But this noise is also heard when making a sharp turn.
