Burning a quart a month wouldnt necessarily be noticeable at the tailpipe, or on the ground. I go through a quart every 2 days and have 0 blue smoke, no burning oil smell and not a drop has hit the ground.

(sorry I still cant multi quote)
The basics, just checking: did you check the oil level again after you had 1 or 2 trips after the oil change to see if it dropped already?
Btw, a quart per 2 days, without an obvious leak....thats quite generous: did you check your coolant status? You must loose it somewhere...and if not on the outside, it might be on the inside...

Well, I had a few ideas, then I saw the post that read "Year: 2001" and immediately thought "0331 head?". Check your coolant, you might have a cracked head. Is your coolant low too? If so, try starting it, pop the hood and take off the oil filler cap and look in there with a flashlight. You MIGHT be able to see coolant in there.
Either way, I DEFINITELY dont like the sound of "2001" and "oil consumption".
Jay420, step away from the bag and think about that for a second. A quart every two days!?!?!?!?! Thats a LOT of oil and probably means you have a head gasket issue.

Oh snap! Now I get it! That's a clever handle ya' got there...
If your bong leaked-out that fast then I'll bet you'd be all over that issue.

But really? I'm at 413k and I use 1/2 a quart every 3k miles.
A qt every 2 days is stupidly excessive.
And was it needed to add 420 to your user name? It makes me feel like I'm playing my Xbox....

Im no idiot. I know my oil isnt getting stolen. What Im saying is it isnt always obvious where oil goes. Im betting my oil is partially lost through rear main and partially getting burnt, but there still is nothing on the ground or no oil burning smell. And all potheads arent lazy, just like all Jeep owners arent hillbillies, and all Americans arent stupid.
My issue persists because I dont have time to to a complete rebuild yet and Im still waiting on certain parts. Hopefully Jan. will hold a complete overhaul for my Jeep.
As for why I added 420 to my name I figured it was obvious. And yes I needed to add it, since it wouldnt let me select Jay. I spose I couldve been cool like you and called myself Black92on29s. Yeah, describing what you drive sounds really original, and itll always stay the same. I bet your the first person here to use their Jeep as their username. Nice and original like.

2. Your xj is burning oil 1/2 quart after 3k isnt bad!
3. How many miles did you say your engine had. If its over 200k thank god your engine is still going.
4. As long as you check your oil every week you will be fine!
5. The add line is ok you still have oil in your oil pan. Thus parts are getting lubed.
6. If dip stick is dry.....half of cf is going to flame you for not doing upkeep.

OP is in Oman. Isn't that where, like, oil just lays around in pools on top of the ground?
Just grab a cup, scoop some up and pour in valve cover every once in a while.
