Engine sporadically wants to die
I have a 1996 jeep Cherokee with the straight six and it randomly wants to die for just a split second. Its like the whole engine dies for a split second and the kicks right back in like nothing happened. Happens at idle, acceleration, and cruising. I just put in a brand new distributor, ignition coil, MSD wires, crank position sensor, and throttle position sensor. No CEL so I dont have a code to even go with. Any ideas what it is? Everything ignition wise is brand new (maybe 100 miles) so I'm thinking fuel? Thanks for the input

Refresh every ground point in the engine bay, along with cleaning every connector with a good electronics cleaner.

My xj did the same thing. Have you washed the engine lately? I degreased mine and sprayed it off, got the upstream o2 sensor wet and shorted it out. I replaced it with a Bosch one from advanced auto $60 and it fixed it, mine took a month before it threw the code for the sensor
