Engine stalls when i stop, or rapid deceleration
I replaced my coil packs and my fuel pump. it pretty much just starts mis-firing on all cylinders and dies when i stop, then starts right back up.
It only happens after i drive about 10 miles.
No vaccume leaks either.
WTF is wrong with ol dixie?!?!
I have a new 4.7 stroker engine at the speed shop now, but i dont want to put it in until i figure out whats goin on.

I would also look into the Crankshaft Position Sensor... mine was doing the same thing, popped a new CKP in and problem went away.

Check the battery state.
With the engine cold, connect a volt meter across the battery. Remove the fuel pump relay. Crank the engine for 15 seconds monitoring the voltage. It should stay above 9 volts.
Also Check that the Idle Speed motor is not sticking, remove it but keep it plugged in, cycle the key from on to off a few times and see if it moves freely....don't try to start with it out.
Sounds like a battery problem though, when the battery ends up with an internal short across the cells it will screw with the electronics on the vehicle by suddenly dropping out voltage when the alternator state of charge drops below 1200 rpm.

Over my head here...But. Stalling at high vacuum? Isn't there something with a fuel pressure regulator and vacuum? Doesn't it lower the fuel pressure idling and decelerating? Hope I'm not making things worse!
