Engine has brand new rod & main bearings, lifters, and oil pump.
Pushing about 35-40 psi at idle.
Sounds like lower end, can hear consistent knock from pan.
Rods are torqued to 33lbs
Mains torqued to 80lbs
Rockers at 19lbs
Any help greatly appreciated! Need this engine running straight for trip on the 16th
Piston skirts?? How do I check those... I'm at a loss here... Engine has become VERY expensive

I had a bad oil pump that sounded a lot like that. Is it new? You could try pulling the distributor and spinning the oil pump with a drill.
edit... sorry, just noticed you said the oil pump was new.

Yeah and the system was drill primed for 5min, oil was flowing from the rockers, and I ran the starter for a solid minute before ignition

piston skirts should be fine if you didnt find any chunks of aluminum in the pan... how did the crank journals look? what did the old bearings look like? i doubt its the cam bearings, but it could be a worn cam lobe... could be a broken wrist pin too... did you look at the valve springs? seen them break before and make a racket but the engine will run fine....

It runs very good, I'm worried about cam because it was swapped from my old h.o..... Had a similar noise, and when it finally went it took a few cylinders out...
I had a trusted mechanic look at the cam and he said it looked fine, BUT it was heat scorched... He said if pieces weren't gone it was fine, opinion on this?
All springs are good, I inspected everything up top when I did lifters

The previous bearings were heated up, and one half was in two pieces, the journals weren't too rough so I just replaced the bearings

Replacing the bearings almost doubled my pressure, pleased with that, if you think the cam/bearings should be done as well, they will be replaced today.

I see you drill primed it for 5 minutes and cranked the engine for 5 minutes. If you used assembly lube on the lifters it would have been washed off doing that.
That heat scorched cam you put in may have contributed to wiping out the lifters as well.
The video sounds like lifter(s) noise.

I primed everything an soaked it all in assembly lube, just had an old mechanic look at it and he says its a fuel issue, he messed with the dizzy and now it won't start... It cranking a couple times then getting bound up...,
