Question Engine swap, flex plate, torque converter question

2000 Cherokee, I-6, AW-4

I got my old broken engine out of the jeep today. I noticed something when I got the "New to me" engine off the engine stand. The nub (lack of a better word that comes off the torque converter is a larger size than the hole in the plate (the plate that the flex plate bolts on to). It seems that this plate is part of the cam shaft, am I correct? will I have to swap cam shafts? Or will I have to get a different torque converter? Or is there another way to solve this problem?

This picture shows the "nub" that Im talking about on my AW-4 auto trans torque converter.

This picture shows the plate that the flex plate bolts to. This is on the broken engine that I took out today.

This is a picture of the "new to me" engine. the hole that the auto trans torque converter "nub" fits into is noticible smaller and it has teeth, the one from my broken engine is larger and it is smooth.

Thats a pilot bearing. That motor was mated to a standard shift tranny.
Just pull it out with a puller and you should be good.

the flex plate bolts to the end of the crankshaft, not the cam. and yes, pilot bearing. pull it off, and it should fit together.
