Thanks.

Anyone able to answer this for me?

Plumbing thread seal tape works good. Little blue roll, white teflon tape. Just a wrap or 2 around the threads and screw it in.
A tiny bit of coolants may come out, no worries. It'll burp itself if needed so no worries there either. I suppose you could squeeze eh upper radiator hose till fluid is at the threads and put the sensor in, bu tI wouldn't worry about it. As long as yor rad cap is good the air will burp out in to the reservoir.
Get it done and go have fun!

PS When you hook up the sensor cram the connections with dielectric grease before you squeez the 2 together.

Sounds good. As long as it doesn't flow out all over the place, which based on location I didn't think it would, but figured I would as just to be sure.

Thanks!

Default clutch fan

the belt driven fan clutch is bad. almost garentee it. I had this issue 2 times. heats up when ideling a while cools odd when moving. no brainer here, when you are moving, you are getting more air through the radiator, which is what the fan is supposed to do when you are stopped. make sure you are still using the shroud around the fan and get a new clutch fan.
