Erratic idle
When I start my Jeep and it's cold, it does some weird things for about 30 seconds. It will start, go to normal cold idle (1000-1100RPM), then drop for 5 or so seconds to between 700 and 200 depending on how cold it is, then jump up to 1500, then go back to normal.
I don't remember it doing this last winter, and it seemed to only happen since I installed my #703 injectors. Other than the first 30 seconds it runs, it has no problems.
Anyone else ever heard or seen this happen? If my description is bad, I could get a video tomorrow when I start it.

hey man.... first make sure battery is good and strong, the check the iac .... it's on the tb and it could be dirty or going bad ... not too expensive and very easy to replace ... you can use tb cleaner to clean it out and it may last a bit longer, but if idle issues persist, you may need a new one ... good luck!

It only started doing it after I put in the 703's. Its not a problem, and it only does it for a few seconds after starting, idle otherwise is perfect. Battery is an Interstate 660CCA and has less than a year of use on it.

Yes I did, assuming I did it right. It is a 96 so its OBD2, maybe that needs a different method? Hold the battery cables together for 30 seconds with the ignition turned one click forward to ON.
If I did it wrong, I can redo it tomorrow since I'm going to be doing some work on the jeep anyway.
EDIT: found this on NAXJA.
I didn't do the headlight switch thing, so I guess this is added to the list of crap to do tomorrow.

Disconnect the POSITIVE battery Terminal and touch it to ground ( not the battery negative terminal ) for 30 seconds. The engine block or the A/C compressor pump will work as a ground. (This is to discharge the PCM capacitors, which maintain the Adaptive Memory.
Reconnect the Battery Cable
Turn Ignition Switch to the “On” position but DO NOT start the engine
Turn Headlight “On”
Turn Headlights “Off”
Turn Ignition Key “Off”

Well today was the first time I started the Jeep on a cold day, and it didn't do it. Guess clearing the ECM's CMOS memory fixed it. Thanks for the help!
