Default Everything new, 1 thing pops!??

96 cherokee 4x4. RC 4.5" X series, adj trackbar, new drag & tie ends, drop arm, gear box, new hubs and new G2 axles. I installed everything and had it professionally aligned. The driver has a pop when I turn, just a pop. Pops once when I turn, then again when I turn back. 1 pop, not a constant popping sound. Are the castle nuts not tight enough? I was scared to over tighten. I've been looking for torque specs or something... Nothing! I'm scared to over tighten.

check your track bar bolt. I had the same problem and I found out the bolt wasn't fully tightened. Took the bolt out, make sure it was threaded right and screwed it back in and no more poping. so give that a shot.

I have the same set up as you but I have the rusty 4.5 and mine does the same thing it also happened to my wrangler after I lifted it.
I dunno what it is either and no real handling prob. I would take it in somewhere if it gets worse though

Slight pop, nothing scary. same thing with track bar. Dont want to over tighten and damage the boot, like the ball joint ends. How far should it be tighten? They are snug, but feel like it can go a couple more turns...

Make sure your track bar jam nut is tight, dont want that coming loose and causing an accident. Another thing to maybe to look at is the steering box space, those are junk.

Replaced the steering box and was recommended to upgrade that spacer, but ran out of money! I know its not broken though. Since I've just started welding, I'm gonna practice on fabricating one.

check your swaybar bushings. mine was quiet before I lifted it, once elevated even with the longer end links the sway bar was making noise. I replaced the bushings on the body and it's quiet now.

Have you looked at the intermediate shaft between the steering column and steering box?

So I tighten the adj track bar, and now it only pops, I can feel it in the same area, when I turn right. Sway bar hasn't been connected for months! Lol. I think I'm just going to tighten the rest if the joints. I was scared of damaging, but when i did the track bar, it was finger loose after a couple of turns with the ratchet. Thanks for the tips!

It is most likely the trackbar bracket where it bolts to the frame on the drivers side. Have someone turn the wheel left and right as you watch the bracket.

It is extremely common for that bracket to loosen up and pop as you are describing.
