I freaked when I read your text. I thought I missed something!
Had to look at the pic to see what u were talking about.
How do u like the paint job on the thermostat housing?

Well radiator and new condenser are in.
China made condenser did not fit correctly & needed to modify for fitment.
Running into a problem with auto trans cooler quick disconnect fitting.
Please see photos. Old fitting for old rad went on outside of 90* elbow.
Old plastic fitting won't fit on outside. See photo of fitting that is male & goes on inside. Which one do I need. Need to get this running today.

Got the trans cooler fitting installed finally.
Everything is hooked back up. No coolant yet,but I wanted to start it breifly to check for fuel leaks, etc.
Question, after putting a rebuilt head on,how long should u have to crank it to have the jeep fire?
I turned the key on & off 10 times, then cranked the engine twice for 6 seconds each.
It did not fire.
Am i forgetting something?

The champion rad came with 2 new fittings, but the lower fitting was for a different year. It looks the same but a hair smaller.
All hooked up now.
Any ideas on my question?

Well it's back together & running great. And when I say great ,I mean quiet as hell with great power. Did 2 oil changes at 5 & 20 minutes of idling.
My mechanic friend forgot to plug the CPS together, causing the no start.
After that, the alternator was frozen. Replaced with a HO version.
Check out drive for a day, then starter(new rebuild) would not crank engine.
Hit with screwdriver handle.time will tell.
Can't figure what made a 1 year old starter with a few dozen starts freeze up.
Time to drive this thing.
