Exhaust Leak or Lower end Tap
Notice I had almost a tapping kinda sound when I accelerate. I faintly heard it over my music wich was all the way up. It almost sounds like a lower end tap but at the same time sounds like an exhaust leak or maybe that just me being hopeful dunno. It has gotten louder and more constant the past two days. It was doing it here and there when Id accelerate now it does it every time and at idle I can lay under the jeep and hear it really well but cant pin point it. I have also eating thru a decent amount of gas in two days. A quarter tank lasted me about 105 miles last week after my cai was done. This week I went thru Im guessing an eighth of a tank (put a quarter tank in and its eaten half of the quarter) in about 30 miles. I can normally drive 65-75 miles on a quarter tank of gas but thats b4 the cai was done. How can I tell wether its a lower end tap or the exhaust?

Exhaust leaks are a common problem. Definitely makes an annoying ticking sounds. Have you checked your exhaust manifold for cracks? Manifold gasket? Motor mounts?

I think I'm having something similar happening with my 1990 RENIX. Started to occur after local MIDAS shop over-heated my jeep. Mine, I'm pretty sure is something in the bottom end of the engine. Shows up after a couple of minutes from a cold start. Visit YouTube link below and see if its the same;

All you have to do is remove the dust shield from the lower portion of the bell housing. In between the engine and transmission there are four 15mm bolts. Tighten one and rotate the crank pulley until you can get a wrench on the next. Repeat until all 4 are tight. These bolts connect your flex plate/ fly wheel to the torque converter.

Woo-hoo! I'm so glad members here have helped identify this recently occurring problem on my Jeep. I hoped that I may have been able to assist the OP of this thread in identifying his issue and I apologize for my intrusion. You've provided me identification and a resolution thats not going to cost me $3800. Thats a win for me!
