Default Experience with brands of tie-rod ends

Thought I had a decent set on a few years ago when I adopted my XJ into the family..... but something has caused the link that attaches to the drop pinion arm to fail,,,and hard... it split completely open vertically...also have a slow leak from one of the pwr steering lines now too... I know I was having to hold the wheel a bit to one side to keep straight... The alignment had fairly recently been done...and I haven't bounced off anything that would knock it out of alignment...

I didn't hit anything... not sure how it failed...but it has. so...... I don't want to replace it with a crap quality part... what are ya'lls personal experience with brands to replace this sucker with?
All the other ends (I checked) are holding up just fine right now. (and should be, I've only done 8K on this Jeep in the last 3 years since I put them on.)

Thanks!

*** I will concede in saying although I've been careful....a LOT of the roads here in H-Town absolutely SUCK.... think of it like hitting an average offroad trail but doing 50 mph all the way through it. I moved here to marry my gal...but the old XJ wasn't used to big city roads that are poo at best. Some potholes here are so big that if you hit them... you're definitely coming out in China somewhere....

Moog hasn't done me wrong yet, I haven't replaced them on the Jeep yet, but Moog is what I plan to buy.
That being said others have had bad experiences with them, but looking at what RockAuto has they seem to be the best brand, IMO.

You guys know I work at Napa so I figure if and when would use their parts.
But the better NCP line and not the PCC line ones.
Funny thing is I never looked up the OEM parts for my '00.
Appears they are still available.
So.........

Moog is my brand of choice for most things suspension and steering related. Not saying they are the best but they have been good for me so far I have never had an issue.

I dont buy cheap parts and when it comes to things like ball joints and tie rod ends, I never ever buy parts that arent greasable.

Moog is what I use. I will say this though...on my F150 that hardly ever gets driven I have replaced the upper control arms 2x with only about 10k miles due to the rubber boot cracking. Its cracked again but gonna leave it as is until the ball joint goes bad. Hopefully on my XJ I wont have this issue..I hope...

+1 on Moog. Often greasable and limited lifetime warranty.

I have generally liked and had good luck with Moog. However, I'm suspicious that my (stock) replacement Moog track bar is a tad too long...axle is no longer centered.

looks like there is a general consensus here.... looking for decent quality with fairly reasonable price point....I wouldn't go with anything NOT grease-able either.

Man I don't know what caused that one to split the rubber like that... On an old crusty ton-o-miles suspension all the time...but not on one that has been on the jeep 3 years and only about 8k on them.
All the others visually look in great condition for being on just a couple years and low miles...
Would love to know the cause so it doesn't happen again....or at least watch for the signs and check it.

After I get the new one on.... long as I'm careful to mark the measurement on the current one, I should be able to get it ballpark before getting the alignment checked again.

Thanks for the suggestions on brand.
