Default extending brake lines

would you like to get away with extending all your brake lines for $30 bucks? well you can buy parts from autozone to do so. i found this on the ranger station and tested it on my front brake lines, since i hade a braided bake line in the back. i got away with extending my front brake lines for $20 bones, just buy one brake line the part number 77226 or 88291. it is the one on the left hand side in the first pic, you just but that and hooke it up to your existing lines in front and rear and you got long brake lines. i will post pics later.

I could see how that works, I actually just bought some brake lines from a 93 chevy silverado 2wd v8, they were 16.99 a piece and look like they will fit perfect, they are 25"

Nice post up on some tech. I personally prefer the chevy lines myself. Most of your older american made vehicles use the same kinda of fittings as a jeep. Problem is getting a parts counter jockey to look it up.

Yea the guy at the counter didnt know what i was talking about when i asked for the rubber brake hose that attached from the caliper to the frame rail. I even went as far as talking about axle articulation and using hand motions. no dirty thinkin. I went round for round till i finally got the right part

I dont recommend tieing them to your shock. this can cause them to wear. I link using light coils springs from the body to the line.. that way when it flexes it has slack, but when the slack isnt needed pulls the line back out the way.
