f150 coils
okay i did the f150 coils it works fine a lil stiff i got 4.5" of lift and then in the rear i did 3"blocks and added 2 leafs so everyone saying junkyard lifts dont work or it dont fit right suck it it does i did mine for $40

i need shocks for it their to short so new shocks ill go up an inch and a half in the rear and a inch in the front. i had to jump on the rear and my buddy pushed the bottom of the shocks on its crazy

Considering how thick those coils are, I feel you will grow to hate them very soon. Two people that I've seen did this mod...and then swapped them out cuz they were TOO DAMN STIFF. To each his own though.......

haha my buddy did that to his jeep and like the guy above me said... he hated it after a long time and just ended up buying a lift.. Nice job tho

I'm sure you have read or been told about all the negative thoughts on lift blocks. Straight out, they are the worst thing you can use for a lift. They will create excessive force against your leaf springs and cause sagging and negative arch in a very short amount of time. Have you ever tried to free up a rusted seized bolt with a standard ratchet with no luck. Then you add a piece of pipe on the end of the ratchet for more force with less effort. That is what blocks do to your leaf springs and will cause bad axle wrap under aceleration. Pick up a set of Dakota leafs from the jy, cut the eyes off of the main leaf and add the entire pack under the main stock leaf of the XJ (using only the main XJ leaf, discard the rest). This will net you 4.5 to 5 inches of lift.
