Considering how thick those coils are, I feel you will grow to hate them very soon. Two people that I've seen did this mod...and then swapped them out cuz they were TOO DAMN STIFF. To each his own though.......

I'm sure you have read or been told about all the negative thoughts on lift blocks. Straight out, they are the worst thing you can use for a lift. They will create excessive force against your leaf springs and cause sagging and negative arch in a very short amount of time. Have you ever tried to free up a rusted seized bolt with a standard ratchet with no luck. Then you add a piece of pipe on the end of the ratchet for more force with less effort. That is what blocks do to your leaf springs and will cause bad axle wrap under aceleration. Pick up a set of Dakota leafs from the jy, cut the eyes off of the main leaf and add the entire pack under the main stock leaf of the XJ (using only the main XJ leaf, discard the rest). This will net you 4.5 to 5 inches of lift.

yea i already fixed that probley witj=h extra leafs and a inch thick spacer plate so i dont think itll do it to bad now but if it does i will change it but this lift is very temporay till i go 7.5" and it was so easy did it in like 45min - an hour in the driveway
