Factory Tow Pkg: Controller Wiring
My '92 XJ Limited has the factory tow package. It already has a 7 pin plug, that runs my 2 bulb trailer just fine.
I will be adding a brake controller. (Curt Triflex?) I have looked on etrailer and their Cherokee specific T connectors are 4-pin output.
I have yet to pull panels and see if I have the preinstalled brake wire. (hoping)
IF I have the brake wire, do I need a T connector, given that my existing plug runs my lights fine now? I will have to get into the 7-pin plug to add brake signal to the correct pin, I know.
