Default Fan blower direction **** not working stuck in defrost

My **** that sets direction of heater/air blow direction isn't working just blows in defrost setting at the windshield.

Engine: 4.3L with headers and full 3" exhaust system

The controls are vacuum operated and default to defrost for safety reasons when the controls lose vacuum. Look for a vacuum leak, starting with the reservoir behind the front bumper

When I was putting on my new bumper I rerouted that thing and ended up breaking the hose, and I still haven't replaced it yet, and I have the same problem. Maybe your hose broke or was held together with electrical tape or something...

Thanks for the info I didn't know about that, now to fidn the vacum line.
