fender trimming
hi i have a 1990 Cherokee with a RE 5.5 long arm lift kit. i put some 35x12.50 on it. it rubs a little. i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to trim the fenders, what to look out for how far up i should go or any other tips or suggestions. thanks

I cut the fronts almost all the way up to that bend on the fenders. The rears I just got about a half inch from the door and followed the lines. Tip: use a nibbler instead of a sawzall/angle grinder. It makes your cuts much cleaner

I fabbed up some aluminium inserts for the frt., to block road debris from door hinges, electrical. I used the foam insert(factory piece behind the plastic inner) as a templet and added some tabs to fasten to lower a-pilliar. This also cut down on water comming off tires, and soaking me when doors are off.

Well its not my DD so i usually dont worry about it too much. I am going to do something about it eventually though cause every time it rains theres about 4" of water in my floorboards (which are herculined so its no big deal)
