Finding "correct" not approximate part!
Ok, thats it.....I have come up with ZERO trying to find certain parts on line. DO not want used, from junkyard etc.....
Can any of you out there possibly point me to the correct source?
Ok, here is what i got, '91 Cherokee Sport 4x4......
I have just ordered ALL the suspension components I need to bring the ride feel back to normal (over 260k on original springs and bushings, so yeah she's due). gonna re-pack all teh axles, hubs etc, diff's are in great shape, just a fluid change there..........
I have a NEW motor and Trans waiting to be put in (clutch, release bearing, slave cyl, pressure plate, flywheel, hoses, alternator, compressor, etc etc etc).
HERE is my beef, lament, whine, whatever the heck ya wanna call it........
FOR the life of me, I CANNOT find the window glass for this Jeep. including the CORRECT weather seals.
I am talking about BOTH vent windows and seals, and the window glass for the driver side and passenger side doors, a MANUAL regulator.....
I have been to the following:
MORRIS 4X4 .com
Quadratec.com
teamcherokee.com
Rockauto.com
EBAY.com
jcwhitney.com
salvageusa.com
omix-ada.com (they only sell to retailers)
the only weather seal i can find is for the normal door inside.
thats fine, but I need the vertical strips for all four doors and the liner seal for both the inside and outside of both doors.
I know it sounds crazy, but I cant find those vent windows or the specific weather seals..
here is the reason, I want to replace all the glass and weatherseal.....
I am getting ol red painted and I wanna have all the stuff ready to go when they put it back together.
IF anyone has any other sites I can check, please elt me know...
Thanks so much folks!

You won't need to worry about re-packing the front wheel bearings. The XJ has a front wheel bearing hub assembly on each side. They come from the manufacturer already sealed. You just have to install them.
Have you tried going to your Local Jeep dealer's parts counter? I know there are a lot of things for XJs they no longer stock but, it never hurts to ask since you are running out of options.
Your best bet really is your local junkyard. I had to replace one of my rear vent windows just a couple of weeks ago. I found a perfect window with perfect seal and factory tint for $17. I just had to remove it from the doner Jeep and install it in mine. These windows are really simple. It's about a 15 minute job out and in. It will REALLY cost you a lot more money jut so you can say you replaced all of it with all new pieces...and it won't look any better.

Thanks folks for the feedback, it is valuable!
Buck, one reason I want to stay away from salvage is the seal density on some of these. It might be fine for a year or six months or whatever....my main issue is both the front vents windows/doors or somethin...was leaking enough during winter months and/or rainy season in Va.... to cause BOTH front floor pans to rust out BADLY...(thats ANOTHER project i have to finish before i get it painted)...
Anyway, thats the primary reason I am looking in that direction....I will check out some salvage yards here in the Southwest, but dollars to doughnuts being in this heat and clime, most seals are probably shot.
Thanks for listening!

Oops! I misunderstood you when you said vent windows. I was thinking you were talking about the rear quarter panel windows. Wow! you are right about front wing windows leaking. I have had coins jammed between my latches and striker plates for the 6 years I've owned my Jeep because it is impossible to find replacement parts for them...and every XJ in junkyard has the same issue. sorry I couldn't be more help.

Call an auto glass shop, they should be able to point you in the direction for the glass. The weatherstrip is another story though.
