Yes it is I have one beside the drivers seat for a maglight and the extinguisher is beside the passenger seat. I also have a maglight in the hollow on the right rear area.

How did you mount the extinguisher? Mag light mounts are pretty easy to do..I plan on mounting one of the smaller ones by my door and my big one in the rear. I'd like a small extinguisher by my door and a bigger one in the rear. I have a small one in my wifes car but it sits in the door cubby hole thing..

Just drilled a couple of holes and mounted the bracket that came with the extinguisher to the front passenger side of the floor by the seat. Used the Maglight brackets like in the first couple of posts from Maglight. (black plastic ones)

Yeah I have those for my flashlight..I was just curious mainly if you did anything fancy for the extinguisher..Sounds easy enough and once I get my front tow points on, lift complete and a few other minor issues I'll be trail ready..

I was asked to wright a bit more on the Maglight, fire extinguisher and ax mount. The mag light mounts are made by Maglight picked them at a local hardware store used a couple of self tapping screws and good to go.All the screws and bolts came from Home depot.
The fire extinguisher I used the mount it cam with but drilled holes through the mount marked the side panel where I wanted it, removed the panel and drilled a couple of holes. Used 2 stove bolts through the holes in the mount into the panel, on the backsie of the panel used fender washers and a lock nut, tightened it all up and your good to go.

While I had the panel off I decided to mount my ax/shovel. I decided where I wanted the ax/shovel drilled a couple of holes in the side panel . Used 2 stove (length to be determined by how thick the handles are) bolts with fender washers on them , pushed them through the panel installed a fender washer and nut and tighten. Reinstalled the side panel, take the ax/shovel and lay it against the bolts to determine where the holes need to be in the handles. Drill the holes and slide the ax/shovel over the bolts. Use wing nuts to tighten againt the ax/shovel. I found a nice plastic wing nut at Lowes, works great.
