Also I may be partial but I love my 96 2 door.
2 doors are the way to go. I even have two kids and the 2 door is very manageable.

x2! 2 doors are very super cool sexy hawtness. But the 4 doors have a slightly stronger body because of the pillar in the middle.
Shifting into 4lo is a common issue. There is some kind of adjustment that goes out on the shifter and it will pop out of 4lo, or not go in. Easy fix though.

There is nothing wrong with a Renix. 233,000 going strong!!! I did change ove to open cooling system but cheap to do. I would recommend any years but the 00 and up. Just make sure you look at the unibody and check floors. Everything else is easy to fix and theres so many aftermarket parts arounds.

i think its more the look of the 2 door.. but i love my 4 door.. some say that the 2 door is less structuraly sound.. but that goes by opinion i would say.. i have a 95 4 door 4.0 auto.. with 188k.. runs like a beast

I have coil on plug and I don't see what the problem is with it, it makes it easier to change your plugs and from what I've heard its actually much more reliable than having a distributor.
