fixed fuel needle bounce
Hey guys...I had a easy fix I wanted to pass along to anyone who may be having the same problem.
My fuel need would bounce erratically whenever it wa 3/4 full or higher. When it was lower, it would work perfectly. I did a little research and found that it may be from buildup on the resistor on the sender caused by fuel with higher sulfur content.
I bought Techron fuel additive at my local parts store this weekend, dumped the whole bottle in a half tank of fuel and drove it until almost empty. When I filled it up yesterday, the bounce was gone. Sure beats replacing the sender.
