Hello everyone,

I just ordered weather tech carpets.

When I tried them in my xj Wagoneer stock, they were not suitable. Do you know if the interior, and especially the carpets, of the Wagoneer are different from the other versions of the xj?

Which carpets would you advise me in this case? Thank you!

The carpets might be plusher than in regular XJ's due to the luxuriousness of the Wagoneer. I know the Grand Wagoneer SJ's had thick(er) carpet. I know the Wagoneer is usually separate from the Cherokee when selecting parts.

do you have any recommendation, any idea, of some mats that would suit into my xj? Ty!

I know of a company called Lloyd that makes something called an "UltiMat". They have several different colors, embroidery, AND EVEN stitching to choose from, AND they're custom fit for your vehicle!

Looking for reproduction carpeted mats for my 86 XJ with a Honey interior. I see some different options online, such as Lloyd's and OC Auto Carpet. Has anyone actually purchased from these places? Are the colors and fit accurate?

I just ordered a set of Northridge all-weather custom fit mats from Lloyd Mats/Covercraft for my '90 Wagoneer. Great customer service. I had them send samples for color selection. They were very responsive. I should have the mats soon and can post photos and provide feedback on fit. They sell a range of carpeted mats as well.

BTW- I worked witrh OC Auto Carpets and had them send me color samples of every color that migh match our tan interiors. I got close, but not close enough for my liking. 8384 Desert Tan in their premium carpet was the nearest match. You may want to have them send you a sample.

Yeah, I asked for samples and they responded today asking me to try to use their hi-rez images first. Based on your feedback, I'm going to insist on the samples. Honey is such a weird orange-ish color that I don't trust the images.
