Lmao makes sense. Not sure why I didn't think of that myself . There's not one in town so I'll have to look around. Hopefully it's not too expensive..

If they don't do the work themselves, they can probably point you in the right direction.

Try a local trades college. I got some welding done by students one time under the supervision of their instructor and it looked great. Small charge to help fund the program.

A lot of high schools have auto trades / welding programs as well, some Mom & Pop shops work almost for free, just look around.

alot of the body shops near me dont want to weld body panels or floors. Seems like only the hotrod guys do much of it. One of tbe best welders in town is actually my local muffler shop, i've had them weld in a piece in a rotted roof, was a beautiful leakfree weld. Just gotta ask around.
