Flowmaster muffler types
Okay so I know the 70 is pretty quiet, the 50 is a little louder and the 40 is the loudest of hte traditional.
From my understanding hte 40 series "Delta Flow" is a TAD bit quieter than the regular 40 series.... is this correct?
Finally, where does the 44 rank? I have a feeling thats just the offroad type of the 40 series or is it a louder one or what? I basically want the loudest one but NOT a glasspack

X2 on the glasspack. I put one on, and regret it now. I really wanted the Off Road Series Flowmaster, but I did a lot of mods this winter so $ was the deciding factor. I will keep an eye on this thread to get more info on my upcoming decision. THANKS!!

BUT
The loudest would be 10 Series Delta Force Race...
Actually...the LOUDEST would be the Outlaw Series...but they are really more of a tube then a muffler...
But for a street muffler, I'd say that either a 40 or a 44 would be fairly comparable...
Later.

Well Ive decided since Im also putting a lot into my audio system, yet I want my exhaust to be heard when i stomp on it or have the windows down, ive decided that I need one with "low interior resonance"... So let me get this straight that includes the 40 series Delta Flow, as well as the Super 40? How are these different? From my understandingf the super 40 has all the advantages of a 40 series with the advanteages of a Delta Flow 40 as well? And is the Super 44 the same concept just louder?

Thanks for the hook up, but I will just buy one and weld it on myself. I have to wait on clearance from the tower to do that. With the amount of $ I have dropped on "our" XJ it will be next winter until I get clearance. BTW, the tower is A.K.A. my wife!!LOL!! Hey, I have seen you around town a couple of times, sweet ride. We should try to hook up sometime this summer and go wheeling. I have a good freind that has an XJ nearly exactly like mine. We have gone through this slow transformation together. We would love to meet some new wheeling guys!! Let me know!! PEACE OUT!!

I bought a few from this guy...

Check out his monthly specials too, it will save ya a buck or two.
My hep is under the knife right now, cam failure in the stroker. Hope to be back under it's own power soon.
Wheelin' trips this summer may be rare if gas doesn't come down a few points.
