Fog Light and Emergency Flasher questions
Hey all, I am new to the Cherokee forum as a registered user, but have been following threads on here for a long time. I really appreciate all of the people who provide great information when it comes to Jeep Cherokees. I am trying to track down a couple of problems with my 1999 Jeep Cherokee.
The first problem is, when I turn on my headlights, the fog lights do not come on. I know that the switch has to be turned on the dash to make the lights come on. I have checked the switch and the green light on the fog light switch does not illuminate. I am wondering if there could possibly be a blown fuse for the fog lights or could a blown fog light bulb cause the fog lights not to work? I have looked at the fuse panel diagram and can't seem to determine if there is a fuse for the fog lights, but if anyone knows where the fuse is located, please tell me so I can start there.
The second problem is when I turn on the emergency flashers the left hand side front and rear turn signal lights flash along with the left turn signal indicator on the dash, but nothing on the right hand side. When I use the turn signal lights on either the left or the right, both sides flash respectively. I am wondering if the flasher relay could be bad, and if so is there a way to determine if that's the cash before I run out and buy one?
Thanks for the help in advance!!

sounds like a bad relay for the flashers....and the fog lamp switch likes to go bad...heres how to rebuild it.
