Fog light wiring?

I fooled around with this off/on all day. Still couldn't get it right. I've rewired 3 vintage vehicles, just none that had this type of setup. There are no female connecterss, in the slot of the fuse box, that is shown in the write up. Nothing for the fuse blades to plug into. Just empty so i couldn't use that. I hot wired from the battery, with an inline fuse connector. Still no go. Who the hell buys/orders a new jeep without fog lights?

You are not reading the write up properly.
Most Jeeps do not come with the connectors in the PDC.
That one guy said his did.
So I included it the write up.

Even though you are using a factory switch for the most part you are still wiring these like an aftermarket set up.
Like the write up said. I wired the purple wire to the fuse box in the footwell using a fuse tap for the 12 volt run source for the switch.
The blue wire out to a relay which triggers the relay when you throw the switch.
Wiring from the relay goes to the fog lights, a 12 volt source for the relay (with an inline fuse and to the battery will work), and a ground.
Now I don't know what to make of the 3 wires on your lights.
The aftermarket OEM type that I used only had 2. One for power from the relay and a ground.

i went through and did it exactly as the thread posted above. It wasn't easy. The third wire in the fog light harness is for using a relay to trigger power to the other wires. I didn't use the orange wire, as I still had the illumination on the switch. Not a job I care to repeat...lol
