From the pictures it looks like you don't have any coolant in there I looks like you are running straight water and is a reason that you have so much rust. I would flush the hell out of the entire system. Once it looks like the water is coming out clean when flushing it, Just keep flushing it more. Make sure to flush the heater core separate from the rest of the system and flush it in both directions.

I would fill you entire coolant system with water. Put all the hoses and cap back on. Start up your jeep, turn your heat on, let it run for about ten mintues then flush it all out,

I would try that but the hole in the freeze plug isn't allowing much to be held. I just flushed the heater core took awhile for water to pass but when it did a little while later a dark milk shake section passed. Water is now clean. Those clamps are a pita to get off safely.

Nobody can tell you that for sure. It might be, it might not. You should probably find out before you start buying parts.
A compression test will tell you a lot, and there are test kits you can get that will check your radiator fluid for exhaust products. If the test is positive, your head gasket or head is toast.

How does stop leak cause freeze plugs to go bad? Those pics look like years of owner neglect, no cooling system maintenance and no corrosion protection.

I'd do a compression check anyways. Definately before doing the plugs, because if you end up needing to do the head, might as well do em all at once since the manifolds and P.S. is pretty much 1/2 the work of a hg, and you already gotta pull them for the freeze plugs

Crap already taking stuff apart. I will do it when the plugs are done. If it is my mechanic says used blue devil something about liquid glass?
