Front Axle isnt centered?
OK guys im helping my buddy with what we call the ultimate budget build. we have 2 xjs and both were free and the only money we've ever put into it was for a roll of new brake lines and gas. We did a aprox 3-3.5' lift on it but now the front axle isnt centered its getting pulled to the drivers side. We have access to a welder and most tools, so how can we fix this without spending a dime?

just remove the lower track bar bolt and then get the axle as center as you can. put the track back back up to the bracket, mark it and drill it! problem solved just make sure the new hole is at least 1/4" away from the new one.

You'll likely get pos and neg replies in regard to that last question. You get what you pay for. If you wanna keep this on the cheap...which is what I think you're going for....redrill. It's simple and quick. If you want an adjustable TB....go with the better stuff.....

just do this.
undo the bottom bolt, shake your jeep and measure that it recentered, make the hole for your new trackbar bolt and drill.

Picked up a new BDS adjustable track bar for a friend for $75.
Re-drilled the original hole, and bolted it in.. .
Now the axle is centered and I feel much better about it......
