Default Front Drive Shaft Rebuild

I am having trouble finding the proper parts to rebuild my cardan drive shaft. I can't find the cap/seal (not sure of technical name) that goes on the end of the slide yoke, some replacement parts inside the yoke socket and the slinger that seals it. Google, amazon and ebay searches have been unproductive. I see youtube videos of these parts being replaced so they must be out there. Any leads would be great. Thanks.

I actually gave up last year and just bought the whole damn shaft from Amazon. It was really a better deal in the long run as the oem had 220K on it.
It was under $240 with delivery and all I had to do was bolt it in.

I'm almost to that point. Thank you, BlueBalls.

Are there any driveshaft repair shops near you...they would know what is needed and would sell you the items or offer an estimate on repair

Scroll down to Parts catalogue 1998 ( past the factory service manuals section) so you can look up the exact parts you're after.

Part Number is 83501595. Available for $7 plus shipping

(No idea why 4wheelparts says it's on the xfer case though)

From experience, it can be a bugger to get on. It's been a long time, but I recall I ended up having to slide the seal onto the shaft up past the splines, assemble, then press the cap down into place.

Thanks all. I have found the cap but still can find a someone with the socket in stock. The quest continues. I will check with our local driveline shop Monday when they open.
