Always get a torque wrench and check the torque of the lug nuts.

well i put locktite on em so hopefully that will keep them from backing off any i wont be able to get my hands on a torque till either tomorrow or sunday

meh i got lucky it didnt eff anything up so im totally cool with it, i got lucky tho thank god i wasnt on a high way doin like 70 i think what happened was that when the lugnuts backed off and the axle fell the studs landed on the inner lip of the wheel so that was kinda like my warning and i slowed way down and by the time the tire actually fell off i was only doin like 5mph

I ran into a lug loosening problem once,it was the nuts.I needed a standard thread lug and metric were installed.or was it the other way around?who knows,make sure you got the right lugnuts.

yeah i woulda if i was goin that fast the ironic part was that i was on teh phone with my wife tellin her i was on my way back cause the clunk was gettin worse lol
