Default Front Sway Bar Link

Hello all, first post with a quick question on my 2000 XJ. Just replaced the stock sway bar links with moog parts and I believe the bushings are over tightened. The factory spec is 27 ft lbs but I stopped before the ratchet clicked b/c I thought the bushings were deforming too much. Thoughts?
Truck has gone about 30 miles this way. Would it be OK to just back it off a bit?

I like the look of those bushings. Depending on the material (rubber, urethane, plastic) you'll know soon enough. I've never touched my Cherokee links but on my Tundra with an AM sway bar, its a yearly replacement for the bushings.

My experience: Urethane better than rubber better than plastic.

I believe Moog calls it "thermoplastic". They definitely seem pretty hard compared to oem rubber.

those are the quick disconnects right? mine does not get off road at all, just a daily with stock suspension.

they're stock links with joints at the top instead of bushings. Made them myself.

OP, I think the bushings look okay.

I think the thing to watch for when tightening them is to match both sides (length of exposed threaded rod) the same so one side is not pulling more than the other.
