Just rock the fuel rail back and forth and it should work them loose. They are just pushed into the manifold and have orings on the end of them that keep them snug.

make sure to replace the O-rings on the injectors that seat into the manifold, theyre prone to leaks when you re-use them...buddies jeep almost burned to the ground because he didnt replace em'

Ok, just make sure all the o rings come out of the fuel rail. Or you can spend 20 minutes trying to figure out why the injectors won't fully seat into the rail when you are putting it all back together. Had one come off of the injector and stay in the fuel rail. It's so much fun to learn from the simple stupid mistakes.

Another thing, don't go to the dealer for new o-rings! They tried to charge me $75 for 12 o-rings.

Don't spend $15 per injector to test them. You can do it at home with a multimeter. All they do is measure the resistance with a multimeter set to ohms and see if it is within spec of 12 to 16 ohms. Then they spray some cleaner through it on their machine, which you can make at home. Here's a great youtube video of a homemade contraption to clean and test your fuel injectors. I'm pretty sure it was a forum member that made this video for another fuel injector thread
. I just received my Ford injectors today and I'm gonna give that contraption a try and see how it turns out.

^ where do you find the injector harness plug like that? I want to do this but I don't know where you would get one of those to wire this thing up.

their not just testing them their taking them apart changing the filters and o rings and going through them and make sure they have the right fuel air mixture and and everything

Just grab one from the junkyard and add some extra length of wire to it. They'll probably just give it to you for free.

All they do is ohm test them and run some fuel/cleaner through them to make sure they are flowing good. They fuel injector doesn't decide on the air/fuel mixture anyway. That's the job for the computer to decide depending on how much throttle your giving it. All the injector does is follow orders from the computer and spray the fuel. You can get the o-ring kit for around $10 from almost any auto parts store and do it yourself in no time. Personally, I don't think it's worth it to pay $15 per injector for testing and cleaning. If it brings you the peace of mind, though, then go for it.
