fuel pressure just checking
Have a 94 XJ AW4 4.0HO
my fuel pump is on a toggle i flip it on prior to car running pressure hits just above 40psi, crank up the jeep hits 31ish then remove vac. line and it goes to 40ish
and by ish i mean just above, maybe +1-2
gauge is a cheapy, finally got jeep running after it breaking down, having a son, going threw a divorce, and finally having money again.
also i started a test drive and brakes went to floor, topped off brake fluid and still same problem so imma bleed the brakes, however while pump the brakes in Park with engine running the car will rev....... is that normal?
also bought a firebird formula from a buddy for $1k with a few problems, changed the altenator, replaces the radiator and all 4 tires, went to junk yard picked up a drive shaft and put brakes all the way around have about $1500 in it now including intal purchase of the car, have 3 offers to buy for $4500 when ever I fix a dent in the side. So, header , pipe inbetween cat and header, intake, 2" more lift and installing the 4.56 gears is about to happen to my XJ
sorry abit rambling SO HAPPY TO BE BACK WITH MY XJ!

Fuel pressure seems OK, I believe that year is 31/39?
Your brake vacuum booster is likely leaking. Might as well replace it along with the master cyl, that's typically what has failed if your pedal goes to the floor with no fluid leaks.
