I have a 98 4.0L

I need to replace my fuel pump. I was looking on napa's website and found 2 different pumps. One for $350 and one for $115. Can someone tell me the difference between the two and which would be the better one?

one is just the fuel pump itself. the other is the whole assembly. if your fuel pump is bad you dont need to spend the extra for the whole assembly if you dont want to.

 

What is included in the full assembly that's not in the other? Just like the mounting ring and sock? And what would you recommend?

it comes with everything. new filter "sock", fuel float, everything that you pull out of the tank is included with the assembly. but i had to replace my pump and all i did was buy the pump because everything else was good. no need to fix things that arent broken.
