just went though this in mine, when you turn the key all the way (without starting it) you should be able to hear the pump prime, should hum for a few seconds.
you have checked for fuel pressure at the raill several times after trying to start?
luckily my fix was I took off the fuel filter, which was a few months old, blew it out, took off the fuel pressure regulator and blew the line back out from the front, put it all back together and it started up after priming.
the other thing i did was after taking out the fuel filter i help my thumb on the hose from the tank and had someone crank the engine, fuel sprayed out so I knew I had pressure.
give us some more info on results.

yeah check to make sure you have fuel at the return schrader valve on the fuel rail after you turn the key on to prime the system. if you do put a pressure gauge to it to check and see how much pressure is there.
