Douglas Fir. Hunter.. Idk. what to say. If I had the space and opportunity I might put a bunch of Dawn and some gravel and hot water in there and shake it around and see what gives. That's if it isn't rusted. Or price one at a JY.

Funny! Mark, that link doesn't like my bootleg/pirated XP Pro OS.

Here's another prospect hunter> http://onlyjeepparts.com/home.html

Default fuel pump/tank conversion

I was able to get it pretty clean. I decided though that when the fuel pump gets replaced again, so will the tank. I don't know how, but the little rubber foot was still stuck in that spot from a prior pump. Weird. Someone was able to get a new pump in still. Got a lot of junk out of there. Pretty pitiful. Then when I pulled the filter, wow. Got her all back together and running now. Will go fuel it all the way up in the morning.

Supper! Glad to hear that. Probably they never got that in right, lucky that the gauge worked OK with it not quite in the right place.

There is a pic of that in my sig for anyone who wants to see what he is talking about

I burn mostly oak (various types, mostly white). It's what we have around here. A bit of hickory, occasional walnut, locust when I can get it, and a bit of pine if I have to. I'll burn poplar if it's mixed in with the oak, but I won't go out of my way to get it.

I run through about 5 cords a year.

Meh, if you are going to go to all that trouble, it's time to move to Linux. ClearOS & Mint have great support forums. PCLinux, pretty bad.

If you can find one in polyethylene, go for it. No rust.

Glad you got it worked out!

Ltl over 2 cords here, but ALLOT less last year. It didn't really freeze also.

The hartwood is blonde fresh split. (or milled) The sun turns it like that. Flooring and furniture and such goes on to develop rich amber tones with age.

No fan of plastic here. All my gas cans are metal.

I got a riding mower free due to metal gas cans. It sat at my neighbor's for a couple of years, and I offered him $200 for it. He gave it to me. Cleaned the rust out of the plastic tank, replaced the gas line, filter, and fuel pump (all clogged with rust), and used it for another 5 years til the transmission went out.

All from a metal gas gan.

Well, now that I had bought replacement pump parts, I didn't return them in time, so I'm stuck with them. Anybody need em? I posted in for sale section
