When you had it hooked up wrong and the wires smoked, you most likely toasted your new pump as well. Just return it to the store you bought it at and say it was bad and have them give you another one. I really don't believe a clogged screen or filter will completely stop the fuel flow. Might slow it way down but, not completely....only a bad pump can do that. You will get through this, Bro. Don't get discouraged.

Any chance the clamp holding the line or strainer to the pump in the tank has came loose or fallen off? It happens sometimes when you get in a hurry. Double check everything. JMO

Default Sorry!

Hello Crash. I started a new thread with the same title. Didn't mean to do it and found out only after I posted it and saw related threads at the bottom! Again, I do apologize.

Thanks,

Cody

Default Resistor Replacement

I was going to order one of the resistors here from work since I work for Jeep but I needed one today, so I went down to O'reillys and picked up a Borg Warner PT# RU12. It is rated at 1.20 ohms and it seems to have smoothed my issue out. It cost me a whole whopping 5 bucks...

I am gonna try and attach a photo but my computer is full of fail today.

Hope this info helps!
