if it the ones from the rail to the injectors I thought at least on the 2000 don't know if the 1989 are the same they are not needed. Its used during assemble tho keep the injectors in

yea your probably right as he did saw secure the fuel line not injectors. I guess we wont know till he comes back. I don't remember if the ones I'm thinking of are plastic or not...even though I just had mine off recently!

Crown Automotive and Dorman make replacement clips for both the fuel supply and return lines. Either Napa has them in stock or Amazon ships prime for under $10. The pictures look a bit odd, since the include a dummy center piece to hold the o-rings that you throw away.
