Hi there
I own a 92 XJ and got a leak in the fuel rail. It was from the fuel pressure regulator side. Back at home I have a complete not working engine lying of a 94 XJ and so removed the complete rail with the regulator, washed it with petrol and got it fiton my 92 XJ.
problem now is the leakage is still exists and cherokee wont start.
Any ideas for wat to b done?

well......i finally got a new fuel regulator and fixed it.
XJ is running but the engine check light is on. Plus there is little vibration in the engine as it seems to b either air not flowin in/out properly or fuel pressure is not at the required amount.
Help???????????

ok. problem solved..............after installing in the new pressure regulator, car did start, but pressure didnt seem to be smooth. Engine was vibrating.
So started my car, opened the fuel tank cover for a minute or two, n then closed the tank. Kept the engine running for around 10 mins, and it became smooth. Engine Check light also went off.
