Default Fuel Rail Upgrade Question

I'm kind of a newbe to this forum and I'm enjoying being a part of it. I have seen a bunch of great pictures of some great looking rigs posted here too. Most of my past Jeeping has been with full size V8 Jeep Cherokee's and pickups including a 401 J10 that I desert raced.

It looks like there are some very sharp Jeep XJ people here, so I need to ask you guys a couple of questions before I get into this. (I did try doing a search but couldn't find exactly what I need to know).

I have an intake (with the P/S bracket) from a 99 XJ and I need to know:

1) Will the fuel rail from my 91 work on the 99 intake?
2) Which upgrade injectors would be the best choice?

BTW: This is a stock 4.0L, but I will be installing a cold air intake and a Banks header when I do the intake manifold upgrade.

Thanks for taking a look!
Dennis

Since nobody had any input on this the first time I wanted to bring it back up to the top to try again. Anyone?

Thanks
Dennis

This shouldnt be a hard swap - Although I *THINK* the Power Steering pump bracket will need a little fab work - I would search this topic because that is where the hold up will be. Other than that it should be a nice upgrade and would stick with the stock injectors unless you stroke it out.

Thanks for the reply!

Really, stock injectors? I have read several threads about how people are getting better mileage and performance with the multi hole injectors compaired to the single hole design (even on a stock 4.0L) do you disagree with that?

4 hole injectors will improve fue atomization and rpm responce thus creating better performance as for mpgs mine got better but not to the point wher its great but its def better
